SIA Binders 2024

The amount of work done in 2024 is relatively lower than in previous years. Last year, several large infrastructure construction projects were carried out in Riga.

Construction work on the route 7 tram line concluded in June. More than 2 km long stretch rebuilt and adapted for low-floor trams.

 

Binders also participated in Rigas street pavement restoration process this summer, which has been publicly voted the most ambitious street repairs experienced in the capital this century. Binders carried out two large and complex projects: the restoration of asphalt cover on the 4 km stretch of the Daugavgrīvas šoseja and the Brivibas Gatve.

 

We also implemented street redevelopment, reconstruction projects in the capital.

In Lucavsala, for example, we completed the construction of the Laivu Street extension and a new street. The total length of built streets – 1.3 km.

 

In 2024, Binders carried out various infrastructure restoration projects outside Riga.
For example, the gravel pavement road V920 of local significance was converted into a black pavement road over an eight kilometres stretch.

 

At the end of the year, a redevelopment of the footbridge in Valmiera was completed. Within a year, the conversion project was implemented by Limbažu ceļi Ltd and Binders Ltd.

The footbridge in Valmiera is 145 m long, with 111 m central span, two pylons and a 3 m wide section of the pavement.

 

The company has owned three asphalt concrete plants since 2024. In addition to the already existing in Vangaži and Daugavpils, this year a manufacturing plant in Iecava started work.
