Asphalt Anti-Segregation Equipment

RCF LLC “Binders”  was the first road construction company in Eastern Europe, which in 2008, started to use the anti-segregation equipment SB 2500 “Shuttle Buggy” (“Roadtec”, USA) during the asphalt-laying process. The company currently has two asphalt anti-segregation equipment.

This bituminous concrete covering mechanism is equipped with an asphalt storage bunker, where a special patented screw-feeder with an adjustable variable pitch is located that ensures homogeneity of the asphalt mass and smoothes the uneven distribution of asphalt temperatures that occur during asphalt transportation.

The equipment also allows simultaneous servicing of two parallel operating bituminous concrete pavers, thus eliminating the problems of cold longitudinal joint formation.
