Construction of the central square in Ikšķile

In order to improve the organisation of traffic near Ikšķile Secondary School, the infrastructure of the central part of the city was modified and a roundabout was built.
A central square with open-air artwork was built near Ikšķile Secondary School.
The urban environment of the central part of Ikšķile was enhanced with a functional central square featuring a fountain, a clock, children’s play elements, benches and green spaces.
Almost all underground utilities, including rainwater and domestic sewage, low-voltage networks and heating mains, were replaced in the construction zone. The reconstructed infrastructure has been equipped with lighting.
