During recent years the company has performed reconstruction and construction projects at Bikernieki Complex Sports Base. Binder has improved the racing track in accordance with the highest quality requirements of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), in order for world-class motor racing to be held there.

In the summer of 2015 the 734 m long stage of the racing track was reconstructed and different kinds and volumes of rebuilding and reconstruction works were performed.

 

In 2016 Binders built a racing trace with a total length of 1300 m in Biķernieki base. For 700 m of this, covering of the current track was reconstructed, but a new 500 m long stage of the track was built anew with 450 m of gravel or “dirty cover” characteristic for rally cross.

 

A special technological process was used for decking the gravel cover. The cover consists of a mixture of mineral material and cement. The “dirty cover” stage is connected to the asphalt cover stage, creating a racing track with different covers.
